Firelands Regional Medical Center Initiative
Alice Springer from Firelands Regional Medical Center was our speaker yesterday. She discussed the ongoing fundraising project for the hospital. This project is designed to get the community involved in the hospital and to make them feel connected to a vital economic and important piece of our community. There are many different ways to contribute and help; from room naming rights to engraved bricks for the new additions to the hospital. She showed us a photo of a brick supporting ....that school up north and was surprised there were none for The Ohio State University. As an OSU alum I personally would have charged more than the $150 donation required to that particular donor :) They are currently building a new pediatric section with private rooms and areas for family's., so this is definitely a worthy cause for anyone to stand behind.
